Director of Human Resources
Chris Aiena is the Director of Human Resources, and his responsibilities include design and development of HR systems and policies, talent acquisition, benefits and organizational behavior management. Chris partners with the company’s leadership team to implement a shared strategic vision while leveraging the company’s human capital to obtain organizational objectives.
Chris brings with him over 15 years of human resources management experience and has previously served as the Senior Human Resources Manager for Renew Data and Newisys/Sanmina-SCI. During his previous roles he has developed corporate HR infrastructures for both domestic and international offices, created diversity planning models, and compensation management initiatives. Chris holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Edward’s University where he graduated with honors.
Director of Product Marketing
Mike Barron is director of product marketing for ClearCube Technology. Mike manages product strategy and roadmaps, new product announcements, press releases, trade shows, demos, and showcases the ClearCube solution through white papers and success stories.
Mike brings 17 years of experience in chip and computer design, computer systems architecture, and competitive analysis. Prior to joining ClearCube in 1999, Mike operated a successful engineering consulting practice, building on his success with Convex where he helped develop the C3 supercomputer. Since then, Mike has been involved in both the engineering development and marketing of many of ClearCube’s unique solutions. He was the lead architect for the company’s original USB extension technology which was instrumental in pioneering the desktop PC blade industry. Mike also managed the development of ClearCube’s multi-monitor technologies and helped steer the company into newer IP connected solutions for centralized computing. He now focuses on hosted virtual desktops, including both one-to-one and one-to-many solutions. Mike received his BS in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, and his MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
Director of Information Technology
John Brooks is director of IT for ClearCube Technology. John is responsible for ClearCube’s computer systems and infrastructure, telecommunications, wide area networking, local area networking, desktop support, IT security, disaster recovery planning, enterprise applications, and web applications.
John has held engineering and executive positions for more than 18 years in software development and IT. Prior to joining ClearCube in 2007, John was a partner with LGE Execs providing IT executive advisory services; managed web application development and data warehousing for Autodesk; served as vice president of IT and Engineering at Apexion Technologies providing large supply chain management software to the healthcare industry; and was director of IT and director of software for XStream Logic, a semiconductor company developing a network services processor. John also has an extensive background in graphics and systems engineering, having held management positions at Apple and Raycer Graphics. John received a BA in Education from Sonoma State University, and a BS in Computer Science from National University, and is a Certified Network Engineer.
Director of Desktop Products
Ray is director of desktop products for ClearCube Technology. Ray manages the development of desktop products including both the analog and digital designs. In addition he manages the compliance, mechanical, power supply, sustaining engineering efforts and the development laboratory.
Ray brings over 44 years experience in the computer industry working in various technical and management positions at ClearCube Technology and formerly at IBM. He has spent the last 9+ years at ClearCube Technology managing the design of the analog copper and fiber technologies. Recently he is managing the digital copper and fiber desktop extension technologies. He retired from IBM with 34 years experience in circuit technology, VLSI and microprocessor design. He managed the 64-bit RISC microprocessor designs used in the RS/6000 Systems. He also worked extensively doing customer support for the RS/6000 Briefing Center preparing executive presentations, giving technical disclosure to customers on microprocessor technology and helping Marketing answer customer questions. Previous to this he managed microprocessor architecture, circuit technology, and VLSI design systems. Prior to management he performed circuit design for both bipolar and CMOS designs including designing bipolar transistors, gate array circuits and gate array VLSI chips. Ray holds a M.S.E.E. from the University of Vermont and a BS in Applied Solid State Physics from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY and a diploma in Electronic Technology from Penn Technical Instate in Pittsburgh, PA.
Director of Technology Services
Jeff Jilg is the engineering director of Technology Services for ClearCube Technology. Jeff utilizes his more than 25 years of experience in the field to manage quality, virtualization, operating systems, documentation, and program management in the Technology Services group. Jeff also participates in establishing product strategy and marketing for ClearCube Technology.
In previous roles, Jeff was a release manager at Hire.Com, responsible for coordinating the content and production of their Hire Enterprise product. Prior to that Jeff was the systems management architect in Dell’s Server Group, responsible for driving product direction and content in enterprise level hardware and software. Before Dell, Jeff was the release management architect at IBM, responsible for designing operating systems componentry and ensuring technical quality of the AIX operating system. Dr. Jilg received his BA in Psychology from Humboldt State University in California. Subsequently he received an MS in Computer Science from the University of Texas at El Paso. His most recent degree, a PhD was awarded from the College of Engineering Computer Science department at Texas A&M in College Station.
Controller
As Controller for ClearCube Technology, Kelly manages the finance department including financial reporting, inventory, cost accounting, treasury, tax and budgeting.
With 25 years of experience, Kelly brings a variety of financial management expertise. Prior to joining ClearCube, Kelly held controller positions for firms operating in the retail, wholesale, distribution and service industries. She was involved in numerous M&A transactions from 1997 to 2005, evaluating potential acquisitions, integrating and then streamlining the acquired company. Kelly helped raise venture capital for 2 separate start-up companies as well as establishing bank credit facilities for several other existing organizations. Immediately after joining ClearCube in 2005, Kelly successfully led the company’s Sarbanes Oxley readiness project which documented and refined the financial processes and controls. Kelly received her BBA from Texas A&M University in 1982 and is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas. She is a member of both the American Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Director of Engineering, DataCenter Products
Raj Mellacheruvu is Director of Engineering at ClearCube Technology. Raj manages the overall design & development of DataCenter Products & Commodity Solutions.
Raj brings over 15 years of experience in ASIC design and systems architecture & design. Prior to joining ClearCube in 2002, Raj architected & designed x86 & communications systems at Advanced Micro Devices and Infiniband based systems at Omegaband. At ClearCube he led the design & architecture of DataCenter products and remote management technology. He is currently focused on next generation remote computing system hardware and technologies. Raj received his MS in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University and his BS in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Osmania University.
Director of Procurement
Kirk Powell is Director of Procurement for ClearCube Technology. Kirk manages all corporate procurement activity associated with domestic and international supplier base companies.
Kirk brings over 26 years of OEM manufacturing operations, sourcing, and procurement experience from companies that include Advanced Technical Services (Mylex Corporation), Everex Systems, GVC Taiwan, and Maxconn Incorporated. Prior to joining ClearCube in 2000, Kirk held the position as Director of Manufacturing Operations for Maxconn, Incorporated responsible for all manufacturing operations in Taiwan and China. During Kirk’s first year with Maxconn, he was successful in preparing and implementing an ISO-9002 program for the Pan Yu, China manufacturing site with certification having been completed within 8 months. Following Maxconn’s ISO-9002 certification having been achieved and maintained, sales grew from $3M to $15M over five years. Prior to joining Maxconn Incorporated, Kirk held a position as Sales Engineer/Project Manager with GVC – Golden Video Corporation based in Taiwan. He coordinated engineering design efforts of a custom 9600/2400 data/fax modem for the Compaq Presario Computer. Sales generated for GVC on this program were in excess of $30M over two years. Kirk also held the position as OEM Operations/Manufacturing Manager with Everex Systems based in Fremont, California reporting direct to the CEO-President. Responsible for over 300 direct and indirect personnel in the OEM Manufacturing Division and Apple Compatible Peripheral Division, Kirk was able to develop both departments into the most efficient and profitable divisions within Everex, while contributing to Everex highest ever annual revenue achievement of $436M. Kirk holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management w/Concentration in Operations from San Jose State University.
Director of Quality and Support
Reuben Quintanilla is Director of Quality and Technical Support at ClearCube Technology. Reuben works closely with Sales in assuring customer satisfaction is exceeded through management of Manufacturing Quality, Customer Technical Support department, and RMA / Repair Center.
Reuben brings 20 years of experience in manufacturing quality and process improvement in semiconductor and computer related fields. Reuben’s contributions have supported bringing CCT products to world class quality levels through continued improvements. He also developed Clearcube’s statistical analysis methodology and data collection system for field failure and customer support cases. He supports new product ramp up at the factory, as well as Channel Partner technical development. Prior to joining Clearcube, Reuben received recognition for improving microprocessor quality at AMD and for DRAM quality at Samsung as well as winning manufacturing contract approvals from medical and aerospace industries. He is a certified ISO Implementation Manager, Lead Auditor, various medical and aerospace quality certifications and a Six Sigma Black Belt trainer. He also holds a patent in defect detection systems. Reuben received his BS in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech University at Lubbock Texas
Director of Supply Chain
Scott Setterquist is Director of Supply Chain for ClearCube Technology and manages the operations, manufacturing, and sourcing solutions for ClearCube’s products.
Scott brings 18 years of experience in manufacturing, mechanical design, engineering management, commodity management, and supply chain sourcing in the high tech computer industry. He manages our global outsourcing strategy and operation of our configure to order solutions business. Scott has developed his skills with various manufacturers and start ups by directly manufacturing product, developing best in class manufacturing processes, and building strong, successful customer and supplier relations. His track record demonstrates successful execution of numerous new hardware product launches, focus on driving cost reduction, and development and implementation of tools to effectively manage the business. Scott received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder. |
