I8440, I8442 Thin Clients:
Replace the PCs in your organization with I8440 thin clients, and do everything your PCs do—while requiring less space, creating no noise, and producing less heat. With a tiny footprint, the I8440 reduces many IT burdens.
The I844x series Thin Clients provide all the benefits of a standard PC with no noise and require less space. The I844x can connect to any server or ClearCube PC Blade over a standard Ethernet infrastructure that includes routers, switches, hubs and media converters. This means the distance between a PC Blade and the desktop can be unlimited. This eliminates the need for bulky, power hungry, unsecure, traditional desktop PCs.

The I8440 is a solid-performing thin client that is an ideal replacement for computers performing typical office tasks. This thin client supports many needs with COM ports, PS/2 ports, USB 2.0 ports, and an optional Smartcard reader. No moving parts mean no noise, fewer part failures, and fewer support calls. The operating system write filter enables IT staff to easily remove or apply any OS-level changes that users make—intentionally or accidentally.

- Simplicity—requires no special OS drivers for the host desktop and has no moving parts that can fail.
- Hardware support—easily connects all standard peripherals including, keyboard, mouse, audio input/output devices and most USB peripherals. PS/2 ports, a parallel port, and serial ports provide support for legacy hardware devices, including printers.
- Networking choices—RJ-45 NIC and optional internal Wireless Local Loop enable for multiple networking options.
- Desktop security—Enhanced Write Filter (EWF) on the thin client enables administrators to remove any OS-level changes with the click of a button, rolling the OS image back to a pristine state.
