ClearCube Named One of the Best Places to Work

Places #10 in Austin Business Journal's 2nd Annual "Best Places to Work in Texas"

Austin, Texas - June 20, 2005 - Austin Business Journal has named ClearCube Technology one of the Best Places to Work in Austin, in its second annual regional awards program. The award recognizes the achievements of ClearCube in creating a positive work environment that attracts and retains employees through a combination of employee satisfaction, working conditions and company culture.

Austin-based ClearCube was one of more than 160 companies to qualify for consideration, making the top 50 list in its 61 - 250 employee size category based on the results of employee-satisfaction surveys taken throughout the spring.

"We do our best to provide a great work environment for our employees that fosters career growth and a work-life balance. To be recognized by the Austin Business Journal is a great achievement," said Carl Boisvert, president and CEO of ClearCube. "This award represents the results of our employees' participations in confidential surveys and I'm excited to see that our employees agree with me that ClearCube is one of the best places to work in Texas."

The top 50 companies in three size categories - small (20-100 employees), midsize (101-500 employees) and large (over 500 employees) - are profiled in a special supplement of the Austin Business Journal issued on June 17.

A countdown celebration breakfast was held on June 17 to announce the final rankings.

The survey project itself was launched in January by the Austin Business Journal in conjunction with market research firm QMR Inc. of Wichita, Kan. Thousands of Austin companies were contacted by e-mail and announcements, phone calls, as well as advertisements in the paper and on the ABJ's Web site.

Companies were evaluated on the results of employee-satisfaction surveys. Employees answered questionnaires that addressed such factors as: their pride in the company, company encouragement, support and recognition of achievement, and relationships with co-workers and supervisors. The results were analyzed and scored by assigning points to each question.
