Former Oracle Executive Joins ClearCubeas VP of Federal Sales Gerard Biggs to Head Government Sales for Market-Leading PC Blade Company Austin, Texas (July 12, 2004) - ClearCube Technology, the market leader and pioneer in PC blade computing, today announced the appointment of Gerard Biggs as vice president of federal sales. He will be responsible for overseeing all sales to the United States government, including federal and military agencies. Biggs comes to ClearCube from Oracle, where he managed numerous sales and business development teams selling enterprise technology solutions to federal agencies at the cabinet level. "Gerard brings a vast amount of experience in federal technology solutions that will be critical as we continue to expand the scope and diversity of our government sales," said Lt. General Kenneth Minihan, chairman of the board for ClearCube. "We are very pleased to have an industry veteran like Gerard to help us deliver PC blade solutions geared for the special requirements of federal agencies and the military." In addition to his tenure at Oracle, Biggs served at SAP America's federal group and Unisys where he managed strategic sales programs, developed relationships with business partners, and increased sales significantly to a wide range of federal agencies. Biggs will be working out of ClearCube's new government sales and technical support office in Washington, D.C. "ClearCube is definitely what I call a 'breakthrough' company," said Biggs. "Their PC Blade is the right solution at the right time for the federal arena, both at the business and the technology level. It's an ideal way to connect multiple users and agencies without compromising security." The ClearCube PC Blade solution ensures the high degree of physical, data, and network security required by federal agencies. ClearCube takes the traditional PC box off the end user's desk and replaces it with a small port device about the size of a VHS tape. The PC's hard drive, memory and other components are engineered as a PC blade that is rack-mounted in a centralized location. This location can be physically locked down and secured, protecting hardware and data. Connection from the desktop is available by surveillance-resistant fiber optic cables, as well as by Category 5 cables or Ethernet. ClearCube has installed their PC Blade solutions for numerous military
installations requiring high levels of availability and security, including
the North American Aerospace Defense Command ( NORAD), Hill Air Force
Base, Lackland Air Force Base, and Nellis Air Force Base, as well as
a variety of intelligence, security, and civilian agencies. About ClearCube Technology Contact: Ken Knotts Steve Collins
