ClearCube taps industry veteran Carl Boisvert to continue record growth and product shipments achieved in 2003

Austin, TX (March 22, 2004) - ClearCube Technology, the pioneer and market leader in PC Blade computing, today named industry veteran Carl Boisvert as President and Chief Executive Officer. Carl brings more than 20 years of executive leadership experience. Carl’s extensive sales and management experience will further accelerate ClearCube’s record growth over the past year.

“Carl is an exceptional leader with a proven track record in growing strong technology companies into well-rounded industry leaders with a breadth of service and product offerings,” said Lt. General Kenneth A. Minihan, ClearCube Chairman of the Board and general partner at Paladin Capital. “ClearCube delivered record growth in 2003, and with Carl’s leadership, the team is sure to make 2004 ‘the year of the PC Blade.’

IDC is forecasting the PC Blade market to expand from 350,000 units in 2003 to more than 4.4 million by 2007.

Prior to joining ClearCube, Carl was senior vice president of sales at Stratus Technologies, a $300 million ultra-high availability server company. At Stratus, he led a worldwide team that delivered consecutive record quarterly growth and developed new lines of business around fault-tolerant server technology based on Microsoft and Linux. Before Stratus, Carl was President of NetTest, where he helped grow the company from $60 million to $300 million in three years. He has also held various leadership positions at Cabletron Systems, Amdahl, State Street Bank and IBM.

“ClearCube represents the first real breakthrough in desktop computing in 20 years, and leading companies are already realizing dramatic improvements in security, manageability and operational costs through ClearCube. While others promise ‘on-demand’ computing in the coming decade, we have already made it a reality with our ability to provide flexible, on-demand compute and storage resources to any user throughout the enterprise,” said Carl Boisvert, President and CEO of ClearCube Technology.

In 2003, ClearCube achieved record quarter-over-quarter growth in industries including healthcare, government and financial services. Recent new customers include: Medical Center of Central Georgia, John C. Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Oklahoma Heart Hospital, Lockheed Martin, Jackson State University and the U.S. Department of State. Additionally, ClearCube has been successfully growing business partnerships including a worldwide reseller agreement with IBM Global Services and a co-marketing and sales agreement with IBM Japan.
