IBM Japan to Distribute ClearCube Solution in Japan

Partnership expansion to meet growing demand for PC Blade computing

Austin, TX and Tokyo (February 25, 2004) - ClearCube Technology, the pioneer and market leader in PC Blade computing, announced an agreement with IBM Japan to market and distribute the entire ClearCube solution to its customers and business partners in Japan. The solution distributed by IBM Japan includes 24/7 support and maintenance from local and remote locations. The agreement will enable customers to fully take advantage of the benefits of the ClearCube solution including stronger security, higher availability, and improved manageability.

The ClearCube solution enables companies to take the computer off the user’s desk, shrink it to a PC Blade, centralize the PC Blade in a secure location and use software tools to remotely manage and switch between computers and users. The ClearCube Management Suite enables a “touchless IT” environment wherein IT administrators can remotely manage and control global desktop deployments, resulting in a 40 percent reduction in support costs.
