ClearCube Hires Industry Veteran to Front EMEA Operations

Former Compaq Executive Mark Norton Joins ClearCube as VP of EMEA to support the Dramatic Growth of PC Blade Computing

London - 31 October, 2005 - ClearCube Technology, the market leader and pioneer in PC Blade computing, today announced the appointment of a new VP for EMEA as the company continues its drive of PC Blade computing. With landmark business-wins and the attention of major global organisations in the region ClearCube has recruited industry leader and channel veteran, Mark Norton to head its EMEA operation.

Mark has a distinguished career in the EMEA technology industry. As the UK and Ireland Group Sales Director for Compaq Computer Corporation, he was an instrumental part in building and developing the region's largest and most complete channel infrastructure covering product, solution and service sales for reseller, distribution and alliance opportunities. In addition, Mark's experience includes Stratus Technologies, the global trusted provider of IT services and solutions, as VP for EMEA where he had been responsible for driving European ISV/channel relationships and Amaze, the UK-based technology solutions provider as Sales and Marketing Director.

As lead-principal in EMEA for ClearCube, Mark will be responsible for the day-to-day operations including sales, marketing, and customer satisfaction. Mark will expand the ClearCube partner base as deployments continue to grow within financial services, healthcare and government agencies. In addition, Mark will provide counsel to enterprises and government agencies that are looking to evolve their internal desktop operations.

Commenting on PC Blade computing in EMEA, Mark Norton, said, "PC Blades represent the single most important development in enterprise computing in the last decade. With global financial institutions, government and defence industries having already made the switch here, CIOs are now beginning to fully understand the limitations of desktops in an enterprise environment. The EMEA PC Blade market has seen explosive growth and our partners will be part of that as we focus our efforts towards a channel-centric business model in the region." Continued Mark: "The channel framework will be fundamental to our growth plans and I anticipate building a world-class network of knowledgeable experts that deliver full-solutions support across multiple industries. Our channel-centric approach will ensure ClearCube continues its leadership in the global PC Blade computing space."

On the appointment, said Carl Boisvert, CEO for ClearCube Technology: "Recruiting someone of Mark's calibre to the EMEA team is an exciting prospect for ClearCube, its partners and customers. Adding Mark's drive and experience of developing channel-centric business to ClearCube's pioneering and innovative vision for enterprise computing reinforces us as the most compelling PC Blade proposition in EMEA."
