ClearCube Expands EMEA Team Amidst Rapid Growth

New additions include a VP of EMEA, Director of Channel Sales and the opening of EMEA headquarters

ClearCube Technology, the market leader and pioneer in PC blade computing, today announced the appointment of a new VP for EMEA and a director of channel sales as the company continues its expansion across Europe. These new additions will help ClearCube to round out their team and expand their realm of experience to match growing market needs.

John Fleming, the new VP for EMEA, joins ClearCube Technology from InEMEA, a management consultancy which specialises in developing and implementing strategic business initiatives for non-EMEA IT companies. Prior to that, John was European channel sales director at Cobalt Networks, acquired by Sun Microsystems, allowing it to gain a foothold in the European marketplace. Based in the UK, John's focus will be to build on the significant wins that ClearCube Technology has had across EMEA including deployments in financial services, the defence industry, healthcare, call centres and education sectors.

"ClearCube is an energetic and passionate company with huge growth potential. My job is to facilitate the education of CIOs out there about how PC blade technology can improve their company's IT service levels and reduce desktop operating costs. We've already seen how the technology has been adopted by specific industry sectors across Europe. Now we need to demonstrate how the equipment can be transferred into all sectors to allow better business-continuity planning and more effective support of companies."

To support ClearCube's strengthening position in the EMEA marketplace, a director of channel sales has also been appointed. Paul Dunford joins the company from Quantum Corp, a manufacturer of enhanced library and back-up solutions. At Quantum, Paul was responsible for improving the channel management systems and increasing revenues four-fold in the space of a year. He will concentrate on managing the strong pipeline that the ClearCube team has built up over the last six months and overseeing the reseller programme.

The ClearCube solution is based on a simple but powerful concept: Centralise all PC computing assets into PC Blades at a secured location, with end-users connected to these blades through small devices called User Ports. The result is a dramatic improvement in the ease, efficiency and cost-effectiveness of managing the entire PC infrastructure. The ClearCube management software enables IT staff to remotely manage the infrastructure from anywhere in the world and to consistently deliver on demand computing to users according to their needs. By deploying the ClearCube PC Blade solution, customers realize 99.9 percent availability, stronger data and physical security, and 40 percent reduction in support costs.

The ClearCube solution is available through a vast array of resellers across EMEA that are supported by a direct touch sales team based in London and Munich.
